Daily Dally is made by Pop Joker LLC in Kansas City, Missouri. This page says what we collect, why, who touches it and how to make us delete it. It is written for parents, not lawyers.
The short version
- Kids never use Daily Dally. You sign up, you tell us about your kids, and we print a page for them. There is no login for a child and nothing is collected from a child online.
- We collect what we need to make the sheets:your email, your kids’ first names, birthdays, grades and interests, and the photos of finished sheets you choose to scan.
- We don’t sell it, rent it, or use it for ads. There are no ad networks or analytics trackers in the app or on this site.
- A few companies help us run the service (sign-in, payments, database, email, file storage, and the AI that writes activities and checks scans). They work for us under contracts that limit what they can do with your data.
- You can delete everything from the Account tab in the app, or by emailing us.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address and a password, or your Google or Apple sign-in. Sign-in is handled by Clerk; we never see your password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, they send us your name and email (Apple lets you hide your email behind a relay address). We also keep your time zone, the hour you want sheets to arrive, and, if you turn on the weather block, the city you typed.
About your kids. For each kid you add: their first name (or whatever you call them), birthday, grade, the language they read in, an optional gender, the interests and activities you pick, and the mix of skills you want their sheets to lean on. We also keep their streak and the sheets we have made for them, as PDFs.
Scans. When you scan a finished sheet, the app sends us photos of the front and back of the page. We store those photos with that sheet, send them to Anthropic’s API to read which answers were right and which were tricky, and keep that result so tomorrow’s sheet can adjust. Scanning is optional; a sheet works fine without it.
Billing. Payments go through Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer ID and whether your plan is active; Stripe keeps your card details, and we never see the number.
Your phone. If you turn on notifications, we keep a push token so we can tell you a sheet is ready. We only ask when you tap “Turn on”. The app has no analytics or crash-reporting software in it.
Email. We keep delivery records for the emails we send you (sent, bounced, and so on) so we can tell when a morning sheet didn’t arrive.
Pally. If you connect with another family, they can see your email address and your kids’ first names, and the notes and puzzles your kids send each other appear on the other family’s printed sheets. Nothing else about your household crosses over.
Waitlist and support. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email and where on the site you signed up. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help.
Logs. Like every website, our servers record requests (addresses, browser or app version, timestamps, errors) for a short time so we can keep things working.
How we use it
- To make each kid’s sheet, every morning.
- To check a scanned sheet and shape the next one.
- To email and notify you about your sheets and your account.
- To charge for additional kids and handle billing questions.
- To answer support email.
- To keep the service working: catching errors, stopping abuse, understanding which activities print well. We look at this in aggregate; we don’t browse individual families’ sheets for curiosity.
We don’t use your kids’ information to train AI models, and our AI provider is contractually barred from training on it too.
Who else touches it
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. These companies process data on our behalf, only to run Daily Dally:
- Clerk — sign-in, sessions and passwords.
- Stripe — subscriptions and payment cards.
- Supabase — our database.
- Vercel — hosting for this site and the API.
- Cloudflare — file storage for PDFs and scan photos, DNS, and the Turnstile bot check on the waitlist form.
- Resend — the emails we send.
- Expo — delivering push notifications to the app.
- Anthropic— the AI that writes activities and reads scanned sheets, under API terms that don’t allow it to use your content to train its models.
- Open-Meteo — the weather block looks up the city you typed; it never receives anything about you or your kids.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety. If Daily Dally is ever sold or merged, your data would go with it under this same policy, and we’d tell you first.
Kids
Daily Dally is for adults. Kids don’t sign in, don’t use the app or this site, and nothing is collected from a child online. Everything we know about a kid was typed in by their parent or guardian, and we use it only to make and check that kid’s sheets. We never show a child ads and never sell anything to a child.
We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information themselves, email us and we’ll delete it.
You can change or delete what we hold about a kid at any time from the Kids tab in the app.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you remove a kid, their profile and sheets are deleted from our database. When you delete your account, we cancel any subscription, delete every kid, sheet, scan photo and PDF, and delete your sign-in from Clerk. Copies in our backups expire on a rolling basis shortly afterward. Stripe keeps payment records as long as the law requires it to.
Server logs are kept for a short period and then discarded. Support email is kept while it’s useful for helping you.
Your choices
- See and change anything about your account or your kids in the app, any time.
- Turn off notifications in the app or in iOS Settings. The morning email is the product, so it keeps coming while a kid is active; pause a kid to stop their sheets.
- Delete your accountfrom the Account tab (“Delete account”). It’s immediate and it can’t be undone.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or a deletion by emailing support@dailydally.app. We answer within 30 days and we don’t charge for it. We treat every parent the same way whether or not a state privacy law applies to them.
We don’t track you across other apps or websites, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals as a matter of course.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords live with Clerk, cards with Stripe; we hold neither. Files are stored at unguessable addresses. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run Daily Dally. No system is perfect, and if something goes wrong that affects your data, we’ll tell you.
Where it lives
Our servers and the companies above are in the United States. Daily Dally is offered in the United States.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders before it takes effect. The date at the top is the current version.
